FAPESP and DCSR issue call for proposals

Agência FAPESP* –FAPESP and the Danish Council for Strategic Research – DCSR invite researchers from universities, research institutions and private companies in São Paulo State and Denmark conducting research within the food science area to apply for funding of joint Brazilian-Danish strategic research projects, in accordance with the present call.
All proposals must be prepared jointly by Brazilian and Danish researchers. In São Paulo State, eligible researchers include the Principal Investigators of ongoing or concluded research projects funded by FAPESP within the following schemes: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, or Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (CEPIDs/RIDCs).
Proposals submitted in São Paulo State must be related to the aforementioned projects. The call is open to any Danish applicants who meet DCSR eligibility criteria.
Utilizing food science to deal with challenges related to food and bioresources in a sustainable manner is of great importance to both Brazil and Denmark. The aim of this call to fund projects capable of delivering considerable and tangible results.
This call for proposals outlines the terms and conditions for the submission of joint proposals. FAPESP and DCSR will jointly support up to three research projects under this call.
