Agência FAPESP – The Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) has issued a call for proposals for new research projects that are a collaboration between French and São Paulo State researchers. The call was published under the framework of the Blanc International II Program, which includes a cooperation agreement between the ANR and FAPESP.
For the 2012 cycle, the selected themes are “Global Change and Environment/Earth Sciences” and “Microbiology, Immunology, and Infectology.” The call was also issued under the cooperation agreement between FAPESP and the Fundação de Amparo à Ciência e Tecnologia de Pernambuco (Facepe).
French principal investigators must submit proposals directly to ANR according to the rules described in the Call for Proposals published by ANR.
For researchers at São Paulo State, the collaborative proposals must follow application guidelines for the FAPESP Research Award categories (Regular or Thematic Project) as determined by the applicant.
Proposals submitted to ANR by French researchers should be in English and must include (as an attachment) the FAPESP form specific to the call and also provide details of the participation of a principal investigator from São Paulo State.
After the submission deadline, FAPESP will contact applicants from São Paulo State and request supporting documentation in accordance with the guidelines of the respective award category.
Selected proposals will be funded for a period of 2 to 4 years.
