Agência FAPESP – The Center for Research on Biodiversity Dynamics and Climate Change (CBioClima) recently launched the podcast Café com Ciência (Portuguese for “Coffee with Science”), presented by researchers Gabriela Andrietta and Daiane Carreira, from São Paulo State University (UNESP).
CBioClima is a FAPESP Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (RIDC) based at the Institute of Biosciences of UNESP in its Rio Claro campus.
The podcast combines journalism and science to promote a quick and easy chat with some scientists about conservation, biodiversity and climate change.
Café com Ciência made its debut with an interview Andrietta and Carreira conducted with biologist and professor Pedro Bergamo, from UNESP in Rio Claro. The scientist shares the beginnings of his interest in bees and ecology, explains the importance of pollinators, discusses scientific articles and reports on his research experiments.
The Café com Ciência podcast is available on Spotify.
